Dedicated in the memory of Fred Yates

PEN - Y - LAN

T’ was on a dark an' stormy night

in the land of old Foy-ee

A woman’s spouse was lost to her

in a wild tempestuous sea

She stood upon a rock on high

A - gazin' O'er the blackened sky

She stood alone until the dawn

A tattered shawl about her drawn

A thunder clap

A flash '0' light

The storm went on throughout the night

An' as the dawn came creepin' on

Across the stormy sky

The folk of old Foy-ee - did look

Upon the rock on high

A THUNDER CLAP

A FLASH 'O' LIGHT !

AN ' THEN

for surely see

The FROZEN form

of

PEN - Y - LAN

A - STARIN - OUT - TA - SEA
